In the year 2000, at the canonization of St. Maria Faustina, Pope John Paul II named the Sunday after Easter as DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY. During his homily, our Holy Father emphasized that "St. Faustina's canonization and this Message of Mercy is God's gift for our times, and this gift of Mercy will be particularly needed in the Third Millennium." On this day, millions of Catholics around the world will unite at the appointed hour of 3:00 PM to ask for God's mercy and grace. The message of Mercy revealed to St. Faustina is not a new revelation, but Jesus did request new forms of devotion and attached powerful promises to them. Because of Divine Mercy, unimaginable graces are available to all of us, and to the whole world. The Divine Mercy Prayer Group meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 9:15 AM in the Living Room. Everyone is invited, just bring your rosary.
